Backing a winner is a difficult enough task at the best of times. When the horses are fit for the knacker’s yard or can’t be bothered to leave the stable, the betting is made harder, if not impossible. Sometimes a Knight in shining armour joins the fray. Sometimes a pantomime horse makes an appearance. We’ve seen it all.
What is real however, is that the family courts and the state courts sometimes have their legs tied together, sometimes running in opposite directions, sometimes catastrophically. It’s no comedy and it’s not entertaining.
