The Andrea Bowler Memorial Prize for family law

The 2011 Andrea Bowler Memorial Prize for family law, sponsored by the Family Law Practitioners' Association of Queensland (FLPA) was won by UQ's TC Beirne School of Law student Miss Kristelle Eager.

Pictured here with Adjunct Professor Iyla Davies (right), Miss Eager won the prize for outstanding performance in family law.

This prize was established in 2002 in memory of Andrea Bowler, a former Deputy Registrar of the Family Court of Australia, Brisbane Registry. It is maintained by an annual donation from the Family Law Practitioners' Association of Queensland. 

Each year students studying family law at the University of Queensland are given the opportunity to apply for the prize.
