The FLPA committee is delighted to announce the launch of our flagship professional development event for 2018 – the Family Law Retreat. Please note that FLPA will not host a Family Law Residential in 2018.
A bespoke conference run by FLPA and tailored for family law professionals, the inaugural Family Law Retreat will be held on Friday 11 May and Saturday 12 May 2018 at Peppers Noosa Resort and Villas, nestled in the serenity of Noosa National Park.
What makes FLPA events so unique?
FLPA events are:
- Organised by family law professionals for family law professionals. Practitioners from various backgrounds – solicitors, barristers, social scientists and accountants – learn from each other and share different perspectives about the work we do.
- A great networking opportunity.
- Fun, stimulating and rewarding. There is such a spirit of collegiality which is firmly part of the FLPA tradition.
A new chapter in FLPA’s history
FLPA has a long and successful history of organising professional development for our members. From hosting the first Family Law Residential in a shed at Kooralbyn 32 years ago, FLPA has grown into the professional and dynamic, yet collegial and friendly organisation it is today.
From humble beginnings, FLPA is now Australia’s largest state family law association and Queensland’s leading industry body. FLPA leads the way for practitioners who are now practising in an ever-changing and ever-challenging landscape.
Please note: The Retreat registration is fully booked and now closed.
